Roadburn

During Roadburn 2016, Dr. No Effects and Darko will host an exhibition called The Fuzzadelic SkullShow. Dr. No and Darko both have an interest in art and music, but above all else, they both have a huge fascination with skulls. The two decided that this alone seemed like grounds enough to combine forces and put together an exhibition.

The location is just a short ten minute walk from the 013 venue, at Darko’s home base and studio – for those looking to explore a little further away from the 013, you’ll find the Fuzzadelic SkullShow at Tuinstraat 65, Tilburg.

Dr. No is a guitar effects artist, creating handmade analog guitar effects for the heavy minded guitar player since 2006. Early in2015 Dr. No invented his SkullFuzz – a heavy fuzz guitar effect in a human skull. After successfully creating this the SkullFuzz,Dr.No asked fifteen artists to make their interpretation of his effect.

For the past year, those artists have worked on their creations, and the spectacular results – fifteen SkullFuzz pedals – are going to be exhibited for the first time during Roadburn. Participating artists are Darko, Cody Snyder, Peter van Elderen, Luk Sponsolee, Paul Smits, Bas van den Boom, Maartje Aben, Eva Heerdink, Cornelis Le Mair, Bibi van de Laar, Henry Greeve, VanCustom, Nico Dijkshoorn, and Dr. No.
